Turn signals
A turn indicator is blinking. Both arrows at once means the hazard lights are on.
These lamps are not about a fault: they say a system is switched on, or remind you of something simple to do.
What to do now
- ⚠️ Blinking twice as fast means a bulb on that side has burnt out. It is by design: fast blinking IS the burnt-bulb signal.
- On LED indicators fast blinking can also come from a poor contact in the socket.
- If it does not blink at all but the relay clicks, check the indicator fuse.
- An LED bulb in place of a filament one needs a load resistor: without it the car counts the bulb as burnt out and blinks fast — that is the «fault» people see after a swap.
- If both sides blink at once and you did not press hazards, start with the hazard switch: its contacts stick more often than anything else in that circuit.
