Payment, delivery and refunds
Everything you should know before paying: what exactly you buy, how you receive it and what happens if something goes wrong.
What you are buying
A licence for the CarScan app — the right to use it for a chosen period (a month, a year or without an end date). The licence is digital content: it is not shipped, it arrives as a key by email.
Prices are shown in Belarusian roubles on the purchase page. One key works on all your cars and on all your devices.
How payment works
Nothing needs reinstalling: the key works in the app you already have.
How you receive the service after paying by card
The service is provided immediately after the payment is confirmed by the bank — usually within a minute, and no later than 24 hours if the bank holds the payment for checks. Nothing is shipped: the licence is digital content.
- The key comes by emailTo the address you entered when paying. Check the spam folder if it is not in the inbox.
- The key is also in your accountSign in at carscan.app with the same email — the key is on the «Licences» page, so it cannot be lost with the letter.
- Enter it in the appCarScan → «Licence» → enter the key. Case and dashes do not matter.
- It starts working at onceThe licence begins on the day of purchase. If you bought in advance, the remaining days of the current period are not lost — the new term is added to them.
If the key has not arrived within an hour, write to info@carscan.app from the address you paid with, or open a support request in your account — we will find the payment and send the key manually. Nothing is lost: every payment is recorded.
Payment security
Card payments are handled by the bank. The card number, expiry date and CVV are entered on the bank's page over a secure connection and are not passed to us: we never see or store them.
Payments are protected by Visa Secure and Mastercard ID Check: the bank may ask for a confirmation code from an SMS or from your banking app.
Refunds
A licence is digital content and is not subject to return. It starts working the moment the key is issued: the key cannot be taken back or «returned unused».
This is why the first days are free: try the app on your own car before paying — that is exactly what the trial period is for.
We do return money in two cases: the key did not arrive at all, or it does not work and we cannot fix it. Write to us — we will sort it out.

Short answers
How do I pay?
Choose a licence on the purchase page, enter the email the key should go to and pay by card or through ERIP. The key arrives at that email.
When will I get the key?
Right after the payment goes through — usually within a minute. If it has not arrived in an hour, write to us and we will resend it.
Can I get a refund?
A licence is digital content and starts working the moment the key is issued, so it is not subject to return. If the key did not arrive or does not work, we will fix it or return the money.
Is paying by card safe?
Card details are entered on the bank's page, not ours. We never see or store the card number, expiry date or CVV.
