Where to start
The oxygen sensor before the catalyst constantly reports a lean mixture. Before replacing the sensor, look for air leaking into the exhaust ahead of it: a burnt manifold gasket or a crack produces exactly this picture. Check the connector too — it lives in the heat and corrodes easily.
What to watch in live data
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
