Tyre pressure
Pressure in at least one tyre is below normal. In winter the lamp often comes on by itself: pressure drops in the cold.
An amber lamp means you can drive on, but do not put it off. The car runs in a protective mode and usually drinks more.
What to do now
- Check all four tyres with a gauge — half a bar of difference is invisible to the eye.
- Inflate to the figures on the sticker in the driver's door opening, not to what someone else runs.
- After inflating, many cars need the system reset with a button or from the menu.
