Driver airbag circuit malfunction

The driver airbag circuit. ⚠️ Not a place to experiment: a wrong write into the airbag unit costs an airbag that fails to fire in a crash, or one that fires without one. The commonest harmless cause is a connector under the seat or in the steering column disturbed during other work — but checking and clearing it belongs to a garage.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
