Intake camshaft position (bank 1) — timing over-advanced or system performance
Where to start
The intake camshaft timing does not match the target. Start with the oil level and condition: the timing actuator is driven by oil pressure, and dirty or low oil causes this code more often than the actuator itself.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
