Crankshaft position sensor circuit range/performance
Where to start
The crankshaft sensor signal is present but not as expected. Often the trigger wheel is to blame rather than the sensor: a chipped or dirty tooth gives exactly this picture. Check the gap and whether metal debris has collected on the sensor magnet.
What to watch in live data
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
