Misfire detected — fuelling disabled

Where to start

⚠️ The unit has CUT the fuel to a cylinder itself, so that unburnt fuel does not destroy the catalyst. This is no longer a warning but a protective measure: the car runs on the remaining cylinders and the journey should not continue. The cause is the same as an ordinary misfire: plug, coil, injector or compression. Start by swapping the plug and coil with a neighbouring cylinder — the code will show which is at fault.

A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.

How the app helps

CarScan reads this code from your car through an OBD-II adapter, shows whether it is active now or only stored, names the module that reported it, and puts it into a plain-text report for your mechanic.
