Accelerator pedal sensors D and E — correlation fault
Where to start
The two accelerator pedal sensors disagree. The car feels sluggish and ignores the pedal — that is the safety mode, not an engine fault. Start with the connector under the pedal: water from the floor mats gets in there and corrodes the contacts.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
