Canister vent valve — circuit shorted
Where to start
A short in the vent valve circuit. The cause is the same as P0447: a connector underneath, water and salt. Inspect the whole length of the wire, not only the end at the valve.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
