Vehicle speed sensor — reading out of range
Where to start
There is a speed signal, but it is out of the expected range. A common cause is the speed sensor or its connector at the gearbox; less often, wheels and tyres of a different size than the unit expects. If different wheels went on recently, start there.
What to watch in live data
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
