Where to start
The VIN is not written into the unit, or does not match what the other units remember. Not a fault but unfinished work: typical after a unit from another car was fitted. ⚠️ It is worth being sure you know where that unit came from.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
