Transmission fluid temperature sensor circuit range/performance
Where to start
The transmission fluid temperature reading is implausible. The same conversation as P0710, but here it is worth looking at the fluid too: overheated, black fluid that smells burnt is not about a sensor, it is about the gearbox.
A code is not a diagnosis. It says which check failed, not which part to replace. Clearing it without repair only means the car will report it again in a few trips.
