All 298 codes in the reference now have a way forward
A week ago 169 of the 298 code pages ended with a description and nothing else — nowhere to go. Today not one is left.
We counted not articles but dead ends: code pages from which a person could go nowhere. That shows up in no response check — the page answers 200 and looks complete. The reader simply finishes and closes the site.
There were 169. Now there are 0.
How the last 33 were closed
Twenty-nine are B and C codes: body, ABS, airbags, stability control. Ordinary OBD-II does not read them on most cars, and a cheerful «how to fix it» would be dishonest. So they lead to the article that honestly explains why they are not visible — and a breakdown by group has been added there: what C0031 means, how C0050 differs from C0035, and why the ABS and stability lamps share one common cause.
The starter turns but the car will not start — P0513. A ten-second check with no adapter at all, and an honest note that a key cannot be programmed from the app.
The Check Engine light never comes on — P0650. A ten-second check worth doing before buying a car.
P0508 and P050A — the idle air control — were written into the guide unstable idle, where this fault is already covered step by step.
What next
Every code page now leads somewhere. From here we will look at quality rather than the count: for some codes the way forward exists but leads to a general walkthrough rather than a conversation about that particular code.
